Leslin Leadership Symposia

The Leslin Leadership Symposia offers leaders in healthcare facilities and systems a structured space to think critically, deepen their understanding of complex challenges, and build meaningful networks with peers across the field. Sessions are intentionally informal, featuring expert and guest speakers from healthcare and beyond, with active learning and experiential exercises woven throughout to encourage genuine collaboration rather than passive listening. The Symposia are offered to both large and small groups, allowing them to serve organization-wide leadership initiatives as well as more intimate, focused cohorts.

Each gathering draws on an interdisciplinary range of fields, including medicine, business, history, and the humanities, reflecting Leslin's belief that effective healthcare leadership requires more than clinical or operational expertise. Sessions are grounded in an academic and practice-based model, using Socratic dialogue to surface ideas, work through problems, and sharpen critical thinking.

The Symposia is designed to achieve several core outcomes: strengthening leaders' ability to navigate large-scale strategic and operational challenges, building durable professional networks across disciplines and institutions, and cultivating the kind of critical thinking that translates into better decision-making under pressure. Equally important, the Symposia aims to provide participants with a genuine sense of renewal, recognizing that sustainable leadership requires space for reflection as much as strategy.

Open to leaders at all levels, the Leslin Leadership Symposia reflects Leslin's ongoing commitment to cultivating healthcare leadership that is rigorous, humanistic, and built for the demands of the twenty-first century.
