Dr. Song received her MD from Henan Medical University (People’s Republic of China). Current President, Former Dean, Graduate School of Oriental Medicine, New York College of Health Professions, Vice President of the Spinal Professional Committee of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies (WFCMS). She served as Senior Judge of the Academic Professional Title Committee of the Spinal Health Professional Committee of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies (WFCMS) and is a Licensed Acupuncturist in New York State.
The New York College of Health Professions, chartered by the New York State Board of Regents, is one of the leading colleges of Holistic medicine in the US. The College offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs in Massage Therapy, Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, and a Continuing Education Certificate program in Holistic Nursing for RNs. All programs are registered with the New York State Education Department, and the College holds institutional accreditation from the New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE) and the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine (ACAHM), nationally recognized accrediting agencies.
The institution has led holistic health education for 45 years. In 2020, under Dr. Song’s leadership, the College opened the first Integrative Health Clinic and Center in New York City Health + Hospitals | Bellevue. Her interests include ensuring academic excellence and offering students career opportunities, as well as collaborating with clinicians and non-clinicians to provide the best East-West medicine to patients and staff.
